The Arts of Tehachapi

Artists' Conception

This is an artist's conception of what the new center will look like. In addition to the Heritage League Museum, the center will house much more, including an 'old-time fiddling museum and a wind energy exhibit. And, best of all, plans are for the complex to be cutting-edge energy efficient and environmentally sound. Our "Green Committee" will ensure that the Center and Museum will be a model, from the ground up, for the entire community to follow.

The center hopes to attract many thousands of visitors to its many events and museums.

For the performer, and the audience in attendance, the center will feature a 650 seat  auditorium, expandable to 900. At last, a venue of stature for Tehachapi's many performing groups.

The conference community, large and small, will also have a place to host their meetings and get-togethers, as the auditorium and reception hall will be available for rent. This will include the availability to hold private events, such as receptions, celebrations, fund raisers, and more.

The award winning Tehachapi Community Orchestra often plays to overflow crowds. If you look, or listen, closely, you may even find this gem of the mountains in a Hollywood film.
